About the talk
Author Chris Moss will talk about the development and writing process of his book, with additional context of returning to Lancashire after living away from his home county for decades. Attendees will be encouraged to consider Lancashire’s central role in modern history as a pioneer of industry, the heart of social change, and how the identity of ‘Lancashire’ continues to shift in the 21st Century.
With a chapter dedicated to Manchester, entitled ‘Mancashire… Madchester… Manchattan’, Chris will invite audiences to consider the reinvention of the city and a sense of belonging unique to Mancunians.
