At House of Books & Friends our mission is to combat loneliness and social isolation. We know how hard it can be to connect with people and make new friends; in a time when we have the opportunities to be more digitally connected than ever, it can hard to find real and meaningful connections. That’s why we are launching Coffee & Connections. We want to create opportunities for people to meet over coffee and find new friendships and community.
How does it work?
- You select the session that best aligns with your interests.
- You can purchase a ticket on our eventbrite page (Morning sessions linked here, Afternoon sessions linked here).
- We’ll organise everything you need to have a great time
- You show up, be yourself & make new connections!
Coffee & Connections is only open to people over 18. Meet ups will take place in public, and we ask all participants to be mindful of their own safety when attending – for example letting a friend or family member know where you are and thinking carefully before sharing personal information such as your home address with other participants.

What dates and times are the sessions taking place?
The next sessions will take place the week commencing Monday 24th November, and run until the last session on Sunday 30th November.
