Description

Enter a magical, colourful world in The Great Unicorn Escape – an enchanting, unicorn-filled tale about siblings and looking after each other . . . and baby dragons! From the award-winning, bestselling Diane Ewen.

Norrie and her little sister Star are two unicorns that live in a magical forest near Norrie’s best friend, Louella. Little sisters can be a bit annoying – Star likes to copy almost everything Norrie does, and she always wants to join in whatever she’s doing.

But when Star disappears everyone joins together to help Norrie find her. They search far and wide, and what they find is a BIG surprise . . .

A heartfelt story about sisters, and how looking after each other might just be the most fun of all!

Another islander has left the villa... Ethan is moving on to greener pastures as he has just graduated from Uni! This tremendous accomplishment sadly means that he is breaking up with the north for London. He has been a massive support to the team over the last 8 months, constantly giving 110% to customers and staff! We will miss him so much! In honour of his leaving, swipe to see some of his favorite reads from his time spent as a bookseller at House of Books and Friends 💜

Championing Manchester fiction, and this one's mint! 🐝

Set in the vibrant, chaotic energy of Manchester's Curry Mile, this is an incredible story about friendship, family, masculinity, vulnerability, and so much more.

With all the camaraderie and real-life complexity of Irvine Welsh's Trainspotting, but with a cultural anchor all its own, you're guaranteed to laugh out loud and ugly cry... Salam absolutely ATE with this one 🔥
