Bookshop Concert – Áine Deane

House of Books & Friends are over the moon to announce our first ever Bookshop Concert with the dreamy Áine Deane, coming to perform in store on Sunday, October 29th. Áine will perform unreleased songs, answer a Q&A, and recommend books that will be available to buy in-store. Tickets are a combination of standing and sitting – please contact us directly if you need a seat.

Doors will open at 15:30, with curfew at 18:00.

About Áine…

Áine is a 23 year old singer/songwriter based in London, who started gaining traction on TikTok in 2021 whilst posting covers and original songs from her university bedroom during the pandemic. Her videos attracted the support of other artists, such as Sam Smith, Little Mix and Ed Sheeran and her TikTok now has over 270,000 followers. Since then Áine has graduated, moved to London and gone on to achieve some big milestones. She has amassed over 5 million streams on Spotify alone in just 20 months and her third single ‘Handmedowns’ was BBC Radio 1’s introducing track of the week in January 2022.

She has received constant support from the BBC Introducing team – especially in Cambridge where she has been interviewed many times and who play her songs regularly. Áine also played the BBC introducing stage at Latitude festival last year, before also playing the main stage at Wilderness festival and the Brighton Dome for The Great Escape this year.
