House of Books & Friends is all about โConnectionโ. Everything we do from book clubs to board game evenings, from working with charities to reinvesting every penny we make is all designed to tackle loneliness and social isolation within our local community.
That is why this November we’re running Connection Countsย again and launching a brand newย Coffee & Connectionsย Campaign (watch this space!).
Last year we asked you to share your moments of connection with us, and we were blown away by the amount of people who got involved.ย Your submissions really made us think about how we connect with people in our every day lives and the challenges of making new connections in an increasingly busy world.
This November we would love to hear more of your moments of connection.ย Maybe you have been on the receiving end; someone reaching out to you or perhaps you have been the one to send a message to check in with someone you haven’t heard from in a while.ย We will share yourย moments of connection on our socials, hopefully inspiring other people to reach out and make a difference in someone’s day.
