Books and Beats

The gunnercooke foundation and House of Books and Friends are so excited to invite you to Books and Beats this school holiday! Led by our fabulous workshop leader, Beth Bishop, Books and Beats is a relaxed, interactive musical storytelling session, designed for children with special education needs and disabilities and their families.
Special Guests: The team from Read Manchester & Manchester Libraries will be handing out materials and reading a featured book from the National Literacy Trust I See Myself campaign โ a curated booklist featuring 25 inspiring titles that celebrate neurodivergent characters and experiences.
This session is suitable for children aged 6 โ 11.
Squash and biscuits/healthy snacks will be available for all throughout the session.
