The Book Club – Monday, 24th June 7-8pm *ONLINE*

This session of The Book Club will take place on Monday 24th June via Zoom. This month, we are reading Bellies by Nicola Dinan – £9.99 is the price of the book and a ticket to the session. The book can be delivered directly to you (please add your shipping address and tick the box for shipping) or you can collect it in store free of charge. You can buy a book and ticket here.

One of our booksellers will lead the book club, and the group will be split up into smaller groups in breakout rooms to discuss the questions. A Zoom link will be emailed to ticketholders prior to the event starting.

We always ask that you be respectful and kind whilst discussing the book and others’ opinions of it.

About the book

It begins as your typical boy meets boy.

Tom and Ming meet on a night out at university and fall hard for each other. It’s not long before they are planning a future and building a life.

Then Ming announces her intention to transition.

As Tom and Ming both face shifts in their relationship and confront the vastly different shapes their lives have taken, they must both ask if it is worth losing a part of themselves – or each other – to become the people they want to be.
